WEEKS 1 through 9 - LEAGUE COMPETITION
Participants play each team in their 10-team league in a round robin tournament in Weeks 1 through 9 of the football season.
Teams accumulate one win or loss in each head-to-head match-up.
Each team accumulates an additional win or loss each week based on whether it finishes in the top half or bottom half of its league in points scored for the week.
Weekly point total standings are those standings as of 12 Noon
CT on the Thursday following the week's games.
At the end of Week 9, each team has 18 points attributed to its record.
Week 10:
1. The top 2 teams in each league with the best 18-point records play head-to-head in Week 10 to determine which team is the league winner.
2. All other teams set their lineups for Week 10 in order to score a Week 10 weekly point total.
Tiebreakers for Weekly Matchups and for Top Half of League
1. Whichever team's highest scoring reserve player has more points is awarded the win.
2. If a tie exists, whichever team's second highest scoring reserve player has more points is awarded the win.
3-10. If a tie still exists, continue the process comparing the third highest scoring reserve players down to the lowest scoring reserve players, one by one, until the tie is broken.
11. Virtual coin toss.
Tiebreakers for League Standings

4. If a tie exists, the team that has the second highest single-week point total is ranked higher in the standings.

WEEKS 11 through 15 -- OPEN BRACKET PLAY and CUT LINE
In Weeks 11 through 15, teams in OPEN or NEXT BRACKET set their weekly starting lineups to accumulate a weekly point total that determines whether or not they remain in the OPEN or NEXT BRACKET or move to the Next or Last Bracket the following week.
For Weeks 11 through 14, there is a cut line such that the top percentage of teams with the highest weekly point totals advance and the bottom percentage of teams move to the Last Bracket:
Cutline percentages will be adjusted to accommodate the total number of teams. An example of what the cutline percentages might look like:
1. Based on Week 11 point totals, the top 50% of the teams remain in the Open Bracket.
2. Based on Week 12 point totals, the top 40% of the teams remain in the Open Bracket.
3. Based on Week 13 point totals, the top 30% of the teams remain in the Open Bracket.
4. Based on Week 14 point totals, the top 20% of the teams remain in the Open Bracket.
Cut lines will be finalized on September 30th, 2014.
In the event that two or more teams are tied with the same point score at the cut line, all tied teams remain in the OPEN or NEXT BRACKET.
Each week the teams that do not make the cut line move to the Next or Last Bracket and join the competition for that bracket's prizes.
Teams in the Next Bracket in Weeks 11-14 will have the ability to move up to the OPEN BRACKET if they are the team that week with the highest total score in the Next Bracket for that week.
Teams in the Last Bracket in Weeks 11-14 will have the ability to move up to the NEXT BRACKET if they are the team that week with the highest total score in the Last Bracket for that week.
Based on Week 15 point totals, the top 6 teams will compete in Week 16 for the OPEN BRACKET’s grand prizes. The teams that are not in the top 6 move to the Next Bracket.
The cut line is applied based on weekly point totals and bracket standings as of 12 Noon CT on the Wednesday following the week's games.
For all teams, the average of their Week 10 through 15 weekly point totals becomes their Playoffs Average Score that will be used to determine their final score in their respective bracket after Week 16 which is:
Final Score = League Play Average Score + Playoffs Average Score + Week 16 Point Total
Tiebreakers for Top 8.

3. If a tie exists, the team that has the highest single-week point total (from any of the 15 weeks) is ranked higher in the standings.
4. If a tie exists, the team that has the second highest single-week point total is ranked higher in the standings.
