Official Playoff Football Rules
The Game
Select a starting roster of players that will accumulate fantasy points and
survive the Live Cutline according to the STANIMA post season scoring system
for games played during the 2014 NFL playoff season.
Cost To Play
The registration fees to play in the STANIMA post season contest are:
$65 – 1 entry
$125 – 3 entries
$175 - 6 entries
Prizes
The Top Ten teams in the final standings will receive a prize:
1st - $1,500
2nd - $500
3rd - $350
4th - $250
5th - $150
6th - $125
7th - $75 or 2014 Tier 2 Open Championship Entry
8th - $75 or 2014 Tier 2 Open Championship Entry
9th - 2014 Tier 1 Open Championship Entry
10th - 2014 Tier 1 Open Championship Entry
Create Your Team
- STANIMA will present 8 different selection Groups of players eligible to
play in the 2014 NFL playoff tournaments.
- Selection Groups 1-7 will comprised of 9 players in each group.
- Selection Group 8 will be comprised of all players on an NFL playoff roster that were NOT listed in Groups 1-7.
- Contestants create a starting roster by selecting players from each group using the following guidelines:
o Group 1 - 1 player
o Group 2 – 1 player
o Group 3 – 1 player
o Group 4 – 1 player
o Group 5 – 1 player
o Group 6 – 1 player
o Group 7 – 1 player
o Group 8 – 1 player
- Contestants must fulfill the STANIMA post season starting roster
requirements when selecting from the player groups. The starting roster
requirements for the 2014 STANIMA post season contest are:
o QB
o RB1
o RB2
o WR1
o WR2
o WR3
o TE
o K
Game and Scoring Format
- STANIMA's Live Cutline Scoring will be used for the 2014 playoff game.
- Every roster will begin to accumulate points once the 2014 NFL
playoffs kick off.
- Each team that survives the cut and advances to the next week of
games will take with it the weekly average score from all of the previous
playoff weeks. Point scored during subsequent playoff weeks will be added to
the weekly average. Here is a sample chart:

- All rosters will LOCK at 3:30 PM CENTRAL on Saturday January 4th, and will
remain LOCKED thru the final play of the Super Bowl on February 2rd, 2014.
This means that the same 8 players will be locked in and representing your
team throughout the entire playoffs.**
** Times may change with release of NFL Playoff Schedule.
- The winning entry will be the team with the highest amount of STANIMA
Fantasy Points at the conclusion of the Super bowl on February 2rd, 2014.
Special Notes:
- The STANIMA post season contest WILL BE incorporating a .5 PPR scoring format.
- The STANIMA post season contest WILL NOT be using the Defense/Special Teams position.
- The STANIMA post season contest will award 2 extra point for any
TD scored by the Running Back position (includes rushing and receiving TDs
by Running backs)
- There are no transactions, and no bench players in the STANIMA
post season contest. The 8 players selected are the ones that will be used
for the entire contest, regardless of the number of games the players
actually play in during the playoffs.
- Player Groups 1-7 will each have a total of 9 players to choose from, with
each of these groups having at least one Kicker. Player Group #8 will
contain more than 9 players to choose from as this group will contain every
NFL playoff player no listed in Groups 1-7.
- Scores will be considered final for the week on the Thursday of each week
at 10 PM CENTRAL
- After the final standings are confirmed, In case of a tie between
teams for first place, the tie breaker will be the team that had the most
Week 4 points. If a tie exists the tie breaker will be the team with most
Week 3 points. If a tie still exists the tie breaker will be the team with
the most Week 2 points. If a tie still exists than the tie breaker will be
the team with the most Week 1 points. If a tie still exists than the prize
will be split between the tied teams.
Teams accumulate points each week based on the Stanima Fantasy Football playoff football point scoring system and their weekly lineup of 8 starters.
All teams accumulate weekly point totals for all the games of the NFL post season.
Points are awarded each week based on the following scoring information.
Passing Stats
Passing TD Pass = 4
40-yard or more TD passing bonus = 2
Interceptions Thrown = -1
Every 25 passing yards = 1
2pt Passing Conversion =2
Rushing Stats
Rushing TD Rush = 6*
Every 10 rushing yards = 1
2pt Rushing Conversion = 2
40+yard or more TD rush bonus = 2
Receiving Stats
Receiving TD Reception = 6*
40-yard or more TD receiving bonus = 2
2pt Receiving Conversion = 2
Every 10 receiving yards = 1
Every reception = 0.5
Kicking Stats
FG Made = 3 + .1 for each yard over 30 yards
Each PAT Made = 1
FG Missed (50+ yards) = 0
FG Missed (0-49 yards) =- 1
FG Blocked = -1
Each PAT Missed or Blocked =-1
Miscellaneous Stats
(Awarded to both individual players)
Fumble Recovered for TD = 6
Kickoff Return TD = 6
Each Fumble Lost = -1
Punt Return TD = 6
For passing yards, 0.04 point is awarded for each passing yard.
For rushing and receiving yards, 0.1 point is awarded for each rushing or receiving yard.
Points allowed are based on the final score of the game, which includes overtime.
*Any TD scored by the RB position will receive a 2 point bonus.
