2011 STANIMA SATELITE LEAGUE RULES
• STANIMA Satellite Leagues only have league prizes for the specific league; there are NO grand prizes or playoff systems against other STANIMA Satellite Leagues.
• All STANIMA Satellite League drafts will take place online AFTER the drafts for the 2011 STANIMA Open Championship are concluded.
• The rules, scoring system, player requirements, roster changes, etc, for STANIMA Satellite Leagues all mirror those of the STANIMA Open Championship. The only difference is the manner with which individual league champions are determined, and the prize structure for each of these leagues . See above for the 3 (THREE) different STANIMA Satellite League formats. For your convenience, the parameters for STANIMA live drafts, game rules, scoring system, player requirements, and roster changes are provided below.
2011 STANIMA SATELITE ONLINE DRAFTS
• Participants in the STANIMA Fantasy Football SATELITE LEAGUES will participate in a 10-team standard snake-draft.

• The starting lineup must have – during the draft and throughout the Contest:
1 quarterback
2 running backs
3 wide receivers
1 tight end
1 offensive option player (QB, RB, WR, or TE)
1 kicker
1 defense/special team
• During the draft, the following position limits for the entire roster are in effect:
3 quarterbacks

Once the draft has been completed, the entire roster position limits for one or more positions may be exceeded.
MAKING ROSTER CHANGES
Three types of player changes are available:
1. Free Agent Acquisition via Blind Bidding process.
2. Free Agent Acquisition via First-Come First-Served process.
3. Roster Switch to start a reserve player and move a starter to the reserves.
Free Agent Acquisitions via Blind Bidding process
• Each team has a $100 budget for acquiring free agents—both via blind bid and first-come first serve.
• There is only one $100 budget available for each team to be used for the entire contest.
• Bids can be submitted beginning at 9 AM CT on Tuesday and until 10:45 AM CT on Thursday each week.
• Bids must be submitted in $1 increments (no cents). The minimum bid is $1.
• Bids must specify the player to be dropped from the team if the free agent is awarded. When dropping a player from the starting lineup, the requested free agent must be eligible to play the same position as the specified player to drop. A player on the No Drop list cannot be specified.
• Free agents will be awarded to the team owner submitting the highest bid. This is not an auction-style bid process.
• In the event that 2 or more teams in a league submit the same highest bid for a given free agent, the following tiebreakers will be used:
1. The team that submitted the bid with the earliest timestamp will be awarded the free agent.
2. The team that has the lowest year-to-date point total.
3. Virtual coin toss.
• Once awarded, a free agent must remain on the team until the following week unless the player appears on the NFL injury eport as QUESTIONABLE, DOUBTFUL, or OUT as well as if the player has been placed on the IR or the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.
• Players dropped for free agents for Weeks 1 through 8 games are not available to be picked up by other teams in the league until the following week via the Blind Bidding process. Players dropped for free agents for Week 9 games are not available to be picked up by other teams in the league.
• Free agent blind bidding is available for Week 2 through 9 games for all leagues. For Week 9 games, there is no
No Drop list.
• After Week 9, free agent blind bidding is not available.
Free Agent Acquisitions via First-Come First-Served process
• Each team has a $100 budget for acquiring free agents—both via blind bid and first-come first serve.
• There is only one $100 budget available for each team to be used for the entire contest.
• Team owners can pick-up any available free agent after 9 PM CT on Thursday and until the scheduled start time of the player’s team’s game for the week. Players dropped during the current week’s Blind Bid process are not available as first-come first-served free agents.
• Each free agent that is picked-up costs $1 from the $100 free agent budget.
• A player must be dropped from the team in order to pick-up a free agent; the game start time of the dropped player’s team must not have been passed. When dropping a player from the starting lineup, the free agent must be eligible to play the same position as the player being dropped. A player on the No Drop list cannot be specified.
• Once selected, a free agent must remain on the team until the following week unless the player appears on the NFL injury report as QUESTIONABLE, DOUBTFUL, or OUT as well as if the player has been placed on the IR or the PhysicallyUnable to Perform (PUP) list.
• Once the game start times of all starting lineup players’ teams have passed, a team owner no longer can pick-up free agents for the current week.
• Free agents via the first-come first-served process are available for Week 1 through 9 games for all leagues. For Week 9 games, there is no No Drop list.
• After Week 9, free agents are not available.
Roster Switches: start a reserve player and move a starter to the reserves
• Roster switches can be made beginning at 9 AM CT on Tuesday and until the scheduled start time of each player’s team’s game for the week.
• Once the scheduled game start time of a player’s team has passed, that player may not be moved to or from the starting
lineup.
• The reserve player being started must be eligible to play the same position as the starting player being moved to the reserves.
• Once the game start times of all starting lineup players’ teams have passed, a team owner no longer can make roster switches for the current week.
• Roster switches are available for Week 1 through 16 games for all teams.
No Drop List
• Players on the No Drop list may not be dropped from a team roster as part of a free agent acquisition.
• The No Drop list will consist of the players deemed most valuable to teams competing in the STANIMA Open and is intended to minimize potential collusion amongst team owners in a league
• After Week 8, there is no No Drop list
